Ralph M. Tyson during the 1920s taught Pediatrics in the College and served as Chief Clinical Assistant in the pediatric outpatient department at Jefferson Medical College. He then went on to become Professor of Pediatrics at Temple University Medical School and Chief of Pediatrics at St. Christopher's and the Lying-In Hospital.
